Lent 2010
The Meditation on the last words of Christ continues at
St Monica's Church on 10th March, and 24th March.
Coffee at 7.30 pm for a 7.45 pm start.
Lent lunches
The next Lent lunch will be on Tuesday 23rd March, at 40 Stanley Road
from 12 noon until 2.00 pm. (NB: Not 25th as reported in "Tidings").
Visit of New York College Choir
In March a choir from New York will be visiting Colchester as part of
their UK tour and will be performing at Castle Methodist Church on
Thursday 18th March. Tickets £8, (for under 16's £5).

Fingringhoe Methodist Church
Although the chapel has ceased to function as a regular
Sunday place of worship many of the other activities held there
continue, including the Monday morning coffee mornings.
Worship Leaders Course
A Worship Leaders Course is to start in April.

Mwikali Half Marathon
On 21st March Mwikali will be taking part in a sponsored
half-marathon at Brentwood. She wishes to raise money for a
borehole to be installed on her mum's land in Kenya.
Please speak with her about it to find out more.
She would be very pleased to have your support.
CYO Open Evening - "Taste and See"
